The problem
A corporate finish degrades unevenly with use — clients need scheduled, in-warranty maintenance that keeps the asset on-brand without a full repaint.
Our approach
Post-Completion Maintenance
Post-completion maintenance by Corporate Painters — scheduled inspection and touch-up that protects the original system, holds the brand finish, and keeps the decade warranty intact.
The Challenge
A corporate finish does not wear out evenly. A reception hall, a lift lobby, and a trading floor take heavy daily traffic; a boardroom barely changes. Left to a full-repaint cycle, the high-traffic areas drift off-brand long before the rest of the building needs anything, and the organisation either tolerates a tired-looking front-of-house or repaints the whole interior years too early. Neither is what an institutional occupier wants, and an uncontrolled touch-up by a general contractor risks a colour and sheen mismatch that looks worse than the wear it covered.
There is also a warranty dimension. A decade warranty assumes the system is maintained, not abused or over-coated with incompatible materials. Ad-hoc repairs by an outside crew can compromise the very system the warranty protects.
The Corporate Painters Solution
Corporate Painters maintains the finish it specified, on a schedule, using the same documented system. Because the original commission was recorded — colours, sheens, systems, and batch references all held in the project file — maintenance touch-ups are made with the matching material on the matching substrate, so a repaired area is indistinguishable from the surrounding wall rather than a visible patch. Scheduled inspections identify wear, impact damage, and early coating issues before they spread, and the worst-affected areas are refreshed on a planned cycle that keeps front-of-house on-brand without a wholesale repaint.
Because the same team that built the system maintains it, the warranty stays intact: repairs use compatible, specified materials and are recorded against the original file. The client gets a finish that stays corporate-grade across its service life, not one that looks new for two years and tired for the next eight.
Documentation & Process Specification
Maintenance is run from, and feeds back into, the original specification record. Each visit produces an inspection report noting wear, damage, and coating condition by location; a touch-up record citing the colour, sheen, system, and batch reference used, drawn from the original handover file; and an updated maintenance log so the asset’s coating history is continuous. Where any area is rebuilt rather than touched up, preparation is graded to ISO 8501 and film thickness verified to ISO 2808 as on the original works, so the warranty terms hold. The client retains a living maintenance record alongside the original warranty file.
Typical Engagement Profile
These engagements typically run as a maintenance agreement following a corporate-grade commission — a multinational HQ, a premium hospitality interior, or a multi-property estate — with scheduled visits coordinated around the client’s operations so front-of-house is never disrupted. The same continuity-first, out-of-hours discipline used on the original works applies to maintenance, run through the project office that has cared for corporate finishes in Accra since 1990.
